Timbertown Motel

"The queen room was spacious with two separate areas, one for sitting and one for sleeping. The bed was comfortable and the room relatively quiet for sleeping. We were advised that the new people had only recently taken over and were still doing renovations. The room was clean and everything fresh -sheets and towels etc, with nice small toiletries. It was handy to have some bowls and plates to allow us to have breakfast in the room, however the cutlery was a bit lacking. The comfort of the room could be improved by providing some lamps as the overhead lighting was very harsh. A couple of cushions for the sofa would also be nice. Overall, it was a good clean room, and convenient to shops and cafes."

"Our stay at Infinity Cottage was so wonderful! The cottage is comfy and cozy, well-appointed for cooking, and boasts stunning views from the deck. We enjoyed avocado toast in the mornings listening to the birds and watching the mist lift in the valley. Then in the evenings, unwinding by the fire pit and staring at the stars. Pim and Simon are exceptional hosts - generous not only with their produce (avocados, oranges and tamarillos galore!) but their time and chat (what a well-travelled, interesting pair!). We were fortunate to join them in exploring the farm, feeding the cows, and collecting and juicing oranges. The kids loved their time here, as did we. Thank you so much for your generosity and including us in farm life - wish we could have stayed longer. We will be back again! Za, Jon, Talis and Maija."

"A gently eccentric cottage with lots of space, intriguing outbuildings and a beautiful setting. The cottage has a well-fenced garden that our dog enjoyed exploring.There are winding walks of various lengths throughout the property. These are beautiful but can be steep.If you're coming in winter and feel the cold, bring a wrap. There is a fireplace but the bedroom is some distance from it.Sam and Luis are lovely hosts."
